Cystic Fibrosis Canada is pleased to host the upcoming 16th biennial Broken Arrow conference, which brings members of the CF community together, including leading clinicians and researchers from across the country and around the world. The theme for this year’s conference is Clinical Trials and the Digital Health Revolution. The conference, hosted in downtown Toronto May 4th through 6th, features expert speakers on topics such as patient engagement, digital technology in healthcare, and partnerships in CF care. CF patients, who bring with them their expertise of lived experience, will also be streamed in virtually to deliver talks and participate in an interactive panel discussion.
In addition to being the 16th biennial edition of Broken Arrow, this year’s conference coincides with Canada’s 150th birthday. As a result, Canadian CF success stories will be shared throughout the conference, highlighting Canada’s ongoing role as a leader in CF research and clinical care.
This year, approximately 130 clinicians and researchers are registered to attend the conference. For those unable to attend in person, conference sessions will be lived streamed and available for viewing online.
Cystic Fibrosis Canada looks forward to reporting back to the CF community following the conference to share important learnings and next steps that follow from this intensive 2 days.
