Since 1960, Cystic Fibrosis Canada has invested more than $244 million in leading research, care and advocacy, resulting in one of the world’s highest survival rates for Canadians living with cystic fibrosis.
Over the years, we’ve progressed by leaps and bounds thanks to the generous support of our donors, fundraisers, and partners. While we’re still working to find a cure, we have a lot to be proud of.
Our Research, Advocacy, Healthcare, and Registry team has created a new document called “Our Impact” to reflect on our progression over time and to demonstrate how our investment in clinical and research programs is impacting the lives of Canadians with CF.
From the first CF research grants award to the current median age of survival for Canadians with CF of 53.3 years of age, the improvement in CF care and research has been outstanding and reaffirms that we are close to finding a cure or control.
