Our relationship with the management and employees of Zellers, through the Hbc Cystic Fibrosis Canada, began in 1985. Dr. Claude Roy, Chairman of Cystic Fibrosis Canada's Medical/Scientific Advisory Committee, asked if small collection bubbles could be placed at checkout counters in Zellers' stores. The bubbles raised $80,000.
Over the years, the partnership has grown to include a variety of programs from an annual golf tournament to the national sponsorship of Cystic Fibrosis Canada’s Great StridesTM walk. Zellers and the Hbc Cystic Fibrosis Canada have raised more than $27 million for Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
