Cystic Fibrosis Canada is one of the world’s top three charitable organizations committed to finding a cure for cystic fibrosis. Cystic Fibrosis Canada is an internationally-recognized leader in CF research, innovation, and clinical care. We invest more funding in life-sustaining cystic fibrosis research and care than any other non-governmental agency in Canada.
Since 1960, Cystic Fibrosis Canada has invested almost $150 million in leading research and care, resulting in Canada having one of the world’s highest survival rates for people with cystic fibrosis.
In 2013/2014, we will invest more than $7.5 million in innovative research and clinical care and will fund 51 research projects, four targeted programs and partnerships, and 47 fellows and students.
Cystic Fibrosis Canada advocates for Canadians living with cystic fibrosis. We work to influence public policy for better treatment and care, as well as equitable and affordable access to medicines — including people with cystic fibrosis, caregivers, families, and members of the clinical team. Together, we’re working to raise the voice of Canadians with cystic fibrosis.
Cystic Fibrosis Canada’s work relies on the generosity of many individual donors, corporate partners, organizations, and volunteers.
