Kin Canada, a Canadian service organization, is our oldest partner. Since 1964, Kinsmen and Kinettes have raised more than $39 million for Cystic Fibrosis Canada. Kin members hold a variety of fundraisers – golf tournaments, lotteries, galas, telethons, bake sales and road toll events.
When Kinsmen and Kinettes first joined the fight against cystic fibrosis, most children with CF were not expected to reach age four. Today, 50% of Canadian children and young adults with cystic fibrosis live to their 40s and beyond. For almost every year of Kin support, we have earned an extra year of life for a child with cystic fibrosis.
