Bequests

A bequest is the easiest and most common type of legacy gift. It is a commitment of support made through your will, to be distributed by your estate upon your death. You simply name Cystic Fibrosis Canada as a beneficiary of all, or a portion, of your assets when you write your will.

A bequest is a significant gift that has no impact on your current financial situation and Cystic Fibrosis Canada will benefit from your generosity.

Bequest Options

• Specified gift - designates a stated amount of money or a specific piece of property, such as securities or real estate
• Residual gift - designates all, or a percentage of, what remains in your estate after all debts, taxes, administrative expenses and specified bequests have been paid
