The Common Drug Review (CDR) has recommended that Cayston® be listed on provincial formularies with criteria. In the reasons for the recommendation, Cystic Fibrosis Canada’s Patient Input submission was cited as a significant factor in making the positive decision. Provincial governments give serious consideration to the CDR recommendation during its review process to determine whether to list and reimburse Cayston. Cystic Fibrosis Canada will continue to monitor Cayston’s status and advocate for its addition to provincial drug programs.
