Subject to the availability of funds, a limited number of awards may be made to allied health professionals from abroad who are invited to engage in CF clinical observation or activity at a Canadian institution; or Canadian allied health professionals who wish to visit another clinic in Canada or abroad. To qualify, an allied health professional must be associated with a recognized CF clinic, and be an active member in CF clinical care. It is intended that this experience as a Cystic Fibrosis Canada Visiting Allied Health Professional will, in some way, benefit Canadian CF clinical care.
Applications should be made in the form of a letter, with a brief budget included and accompanied by a supporting letter from the head of the appropriate department of the applicant's institution. A supporting letter signed by the department head of the host institution should also be provided.
Applications may be submitted at any time, but Cystic Fibrosis Canada should be consulted in advance with respect to the availability of funds.
