Nicole and Matt Robinson
nicole and matt robinson: community ambassadors
Matt and I are not only the co-presidents of the Kamloops CF chapter, we are also the proud parents of 3 little girls (2 of which have Cystic Fibrosis). Our daughters are amazing - they are true superstars and take on every challenge CF gives them head on with a smile on their faces. They spend 2-3 weeks in the hospital every 3 months receiving aggressive IV therapies to be proactive against any lung infections that may decide to visit us. From the outside, you wouldn’t realize that CF Warriors are sick - our girls are no exception. You would never know that last summer, we met with the transplant team in Toronto to discuss Kiana - it was determined that, as of right now, a transplant is not needed "right now".
CF does not stop our girls though - Alysa (12) has dreams of becoming a WWE Women's Wrestling Champion and spends most of her time playing school sports, being very active with dance classes and competitions and practicing for her lead role in her school play of Alice in Wonderland. Kiana (9) is a bit more quiet and reserved, she loves to spend time with her friends, create incredible worlds in Minecraft, or cuddle up with a book. Both Alysa and Kiana are also very strong, caring role models for their younger sister, Audrina (7).
