cystic fibrosis canada volunteers at a Walk

We believe that the needs and perspectives of people living with cystic fibrosis (CF) should always inform our work, as they are firsthand experts on living with this disease. That is why we have launched Elevate, a volunteer initiative that places our community’s voices and experiences at the centre of our work.

Elevate enables Canadians diagnosed with cystic fibrosis and their families to share with CF Canada their experiences, perspectives, and priorities, all of which will help guide cystic fibrosis research, care, support and programs. Each person’s experience with CF is unique and we warmly welcome all in the community, including those who we have not yet met, as this diversity will only strengthen our work and community.

Elevate members will be offered opportunities to virtually provide input on CF Canada’s direction and initiatives through surveys, polls and focus groups as well as participate in third party CF research.

The program is flexible, which means that Elevate members can participate in input opportunities as often or as little as they want! We value our community’s opinions and time and in turn, we will keep members updated on how their input is informing our work.

By participating in Elevate, you will have opportunities to share your story, elevate our work and help shape the future of the disease for all Canadians living with CF.
