It is available thanks to the generosity and leadership of Louise Taylor, former CF Clinic Nurse Coordinator of The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.

The purpose of the Clinical Fellowship is to train physicians to become CF specialists, so that they may provide on-going clinical care to individuals with CF in Canada. The Clinical Fellowships are intended for those physicians who have already obtained their residency training and who wish to pursue additional clinical training in CF care. Up to two highly ranked competitive Clinical Fellowships will be offered by Cystic Fibrosis Canada each year; the value of this one-year fellowship is $75,000.

Ena Gaudet has spent nearly 20 years working with adults with CF astheNurse Coordinator at the Adult CF Clinic at the Ottawa General Hospital.
Throughout her career, Ena has seen incredible CF milestones achieved from newborn screening to the introduction of highly effective modulator therapies, which has changed the lives of so many people.
Paula Barrett, IWK Health Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
My name is Paula Barrett and I am the Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Nurse Coordinator at the IWK Health Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I have been a nurse at the IWK for the past 36 years and I have been the CF Nurse Coordinator for the past 30 years. Our clinic follows about 95 patients from the Maritime Provinces.
Julian Tam, Saskatoon Adult Cystic Fibrosis Clinic
My name is Julian Tam. I’m a respirologist and the director of the Saskatoon Adult Cystic Fibrosis Clinic. I completed a Cystic Fibrosis Canada Clinical Fellowship at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto in 2014 followed by a fellowship in Lung Transplantation at Toronto General Hospital. I’ve been working at the University of Saskatchewan since 2015.
Stephanie Spencer, Health Science Centre in St John’s (Newfoundland)
I am Stephanie Spencer. I am the physiotherapist with the Adult CF Team with joint coverage responsibilities to the Pediatric CF Clinic in St John’s, Newfoundland. I am a graduate of Dalhousie University with Kinesiology and Physiotherapy degrees in 1994 and 1996 respectively.
Brent West and Eva Leek, St. Michael’s Hospital (Toronto)
Our names are Brent West and Eva Leek. We work as Registered Respiratory Therapists within the division or Respirology at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto. As Respiratory Therapists, we provide respiratory education and support to individuals living with cystic fibrosis and other respiratory and cardiorespiratory disorders. We have both worked as part of the CF Team, under the direction of Dr. Elizabeth Tullis, since the program transitioned from The Wellesley Central Hospital in 1999.
