Current Issues

Cystic Fibrosis Canada’s mission is to help people with cystic fibrosis by finding a cure or control for the disease, supporting high quality care and promoting public awareness. We accomplish this by funding innovative research and working to improve access to effective therapies and the multi-disciplinary CF clinic teams.

Through Cystic Fibrosis Canada’s efforts, people with cystic fibrosis are living longer than ever before, yet more needs to be done to help extend the lives of those with the disease.

Looking for a way to get involved? Cystic Fibrosis Canada is currently accepting applications for the role of Provincial CF Advocate.

This is a volunteer role that takes only a few hours each month, but can have a significant impact on the way CF issues are addressed in Canada by all levels of government. Provincial CF Advocates build relationships with elected and appointed officials in order to increase support for the programs, services and policies that can improve the quality of life for people with cystic fibrosis.
