The Scotia Wealth Management Danny Gallivan Golf Tournament was created by legendary hockey broadcaster Danny Gallivan, Red Storey and a group of Halifax businessmen over 35 years ago to raise research funds for the fight against Cystic Fibrosis.
The City of Lakes Swim to end Cystic Fibrosis Canada will be happening on Saturday, September14,2019.
This challenging 15km swim will depart from the Mic Mac Aquatic Club, 192 Prince Albert Road at 7:00 a.m. The swim will proceed through Lake Banook, Lake Mic Mac, to Lake Charles and then returning to Mic Mac AAC.
The swim will be supported with ground and water support, but each swimmer will be responsible to recruiting their own support kayaker to paddler along with them.
